I have been riding nearly every day since and Cricket has vastly improved..... I also have been able to apply several things he discussed. 1. a horse that is "bothered" from movement under their chin. Has to do with their lack of visibility there, they have a blind spot from under their chin to the front legs, they can be startled by movement there. They need lots of desensitizing and flagging, strings etc. (Cricket is BAD about that, today she was startling and spooking at the rein ends dragging thru the brush, she startles and cocks her heat and shies away from the movement, then double startles as the movement shifts to the other eye) and in the end I'm just glad I took and finished the clinic. I'd love to do it again next year.... on Domino.
